COOL SPRINGS PARK

Cool Springs Park- Open year round as a restaurant, general store and gift shop. The restaurant serves Buckwheat cakes all day long with the famous footlong hotdogs. The park includes an antique farm and railroad equipment, unusual animals, a large water wheel, fish ponds and picnic tables. Open daily from 6:30am to 11:00pm. CRANESVILLE SWAMP PRESERVE

An astonishing arboreal bog harboring plants and birds that usually occur much farther north. 1,650 acres protected by The Nature Conservancy. 10 miles south of I-68 on the border with Maryland. Just east of the town of Cranesville on State Route 42, turn south onto the unpaved Burnside Camp Road. After 1 mile turn left onto a country road and follow the Nature Conservancy signs into the parking area.

One of oldest markers in the US. Marks boundary between Maryland and West Virginia, and is a state park. Located 2 miles off US 219, 4 miles north of Thomas.

FELLOWSVILLE FIREMANS FIELD DAY

The Annual Fireman's Field Day Parade features company fire trucks from Fellowsville, Tunnelton, and Newberg. The event, held in June, features the parade, a bar-b-cue dinner, entertainment and music. Tractor pulls are also held during the event and throughout the year in Fellowsville. It is a chance for the community to get together and have some fun!

GOOD NEIGHBOR DAYS FESTIVITIES

Good Neighbor Day Festivities is held in Bruceton Mills, WV every July with fireworks, a parade, rides, food and other events. The Good Neighbor Day Festivities is held by Bruceton/Brandonville VFD.
