Preston County Country Club
Founded in 1925 on property originally belonging to George Washington, Preston Country Club offers golf and dining to the public as well as its members. As one of West Virginia’s longest golf courses at 7001 yards from the tips, PCC has hosted the Men and Womens Tri-State for over 20 years, the Senior Tri-State and other area tournaments. A putting green and driving range are near the pro shop. Big Bear Lake

Coopers Rock State Park
Coopers Rock State Park also has nearly 50 miles of trails that lead you through the forest. The Henry Clay Iron Furnace Trail, one of the park’s more popular trails, takes you back in time as you round the last bend of the trail you. There, sits a huge stone structure used for producing iron in the 1800’s. Ideal rock climbing for all skill levels.
